The
Gaben s. r. o. company was
established in 1991 and from the original intent of a sale and service of
general computer systems we specialised in sphere of identification systems,
especially with bar codes. Currently our activity can be divided in to several
spheres:

System integration during
designing and realisation of automatic identification systems within production
and logistical processes including development of software applications.

Distribution and wholesale
of identification components with bars codes, above all printers and scanners.

Sale of consumable
material (labels and inking ribbons) for thermotransfer print.

Complete subvention SOHO
users, inclusive make-to-order printing of labels.

We
intend to continue to operate in this very specific sphere and so currently we
are getting ready for the trends of the coming years, which are non contact ID
systems and radiofrequencial transmission of data. Being included in the EAN
system we take part in the continuing raising of standards not only in marking
but especially in universal formats of electronic data exchange (EDI).
Identification
systems include series of components for acquiring as well as collection and
evaluation of data. That is why you can find in our offer label printers of
various kinds and specification (portable, office and industrial) with wide
scale of equipment, program supply and consumption material (paper, synthetic
and special labels with all sorts of kinds of inking ribbons for printing). We
developed a label applicator GBE for automatic print. For print itself we offer
printing modules for implementation of bar code to standard printing groups (invoices
and delivery bills) and development medium for label designing and printing.
Selection
of suitable scanner is dependent on various demands and that is why we can offer
a wide scale of manual, counter, portable and industrial scanners. Transmission
of data from scanner to superior system can be passed from single plugging in a
cable or a net of several scanners on one SmartNet line to radiofrequencial
transmission of data. There is a wide scale of completed modules for logistic
and productive operation for portable terminals at your disposal. In "on
key" systems we offer time and attendance systems. Beside this basic
assortment we can offer a wide scale of hardware supplements and development of
software applications to order, inclusive implementation of equipment to simple
superior systems (Money 97, DUO, AbraGold...) or complicated (K2, Navision, BAAN,
SAP R/3...)
For
business activity and the applications itself we use products of renowned Czech
and foreign companies. We are the direct importers of all equipment with
commercial and technical connections to the producer. Our representation in our

When
the legislation about designation of food products was legalised, most of the
small investors such as bakers and confectioners faced the problem of choosing
suitable printing machines. Our firm came up at that time with counter-plan of
complex support for "SOHO" users by offering preliminary know-how and
by supplying relevant equipment. Each user was provided with a printer and
software for label designing and printing. We help with choosing labels for
print due to specific application needs (paper, synthetic material, textiles,
kind of glue...) we will recommend proper thermo transfer inking ribbon and
train people to use the printer and program equipment. An essential service for
this category of customers is the make-to-order print of labels in different
ways. In this section we choose references from Beskyd Frycovice, Masokombinat
Martinov and Kromeriz, Lagris Luhacovice and others.
Since
the foundation of our firm we have laid emphasis in maximum technical support in
our equipment and this is still our main motto. The structure of our company is
geared to this. Most of our employees are qualified in technical (hardware and
software) sphere. All equipment supplied by us is provided with guarantee
service. The certificates from supply companies about successful graduation from
authorised technical tests are matter-of-course. In some cases we provide
permanent service of our equipment, especially printers, at place of
installation. We performed an audit system of quality due to ISO 9001:2000 standards
and we obtained ISO 9001:2000 certificate in branches of business services, ID
projects and systems realisation and repair services.
Specific
technical demands of our clients especially in the industrial sphere lead us
from the beginning to our own development of hardware and software products. By
ourselves and in co-operation with our OEM partners rare products are being
developed all of which fulfil exacting specifications. The most successful are
especially automatic label applicator GBE, industrial scanner GBC1400 and from
the universal software products the time and attendance system ADS and original
printing software GBC in MS DOS and MS Windows versions. Exceptional product is
our system for material flow tracking and manufacturing cycle data collection
GBCLINE and its cooperation with SQL databases of company information systems.
Gaben
s.r.o. is a Czech private company with 24 constant and 10 external employees most
of whom are technical workers. The centre of the company is situated in Ostrava.
The business centre for the Czech region is in Prague, for the Slovak region in
Trencin (Slovakia). The company’s turn-over
in last few years has increased by about 25% every year.
